Wednesday Dog of the Week- Mary

Mary was found in an area of Menifee, called Quail Valley....she is a young German Shepherd mix..the man who brought her in said he really liked her and wanted to keep her but his room mate didn't agree....she is about a year old and quite the character, delightful personality and loves playing with the other large dogs..very intelligent..Mary is healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home.....she loves children also........you can find Mary at the Sun City K-9 Dog Rescue !

news flash............................Mary was adopted today!

If you've ever wondered about any of the featured dogs..if they've found homes....here is a link that lists all the ones who have been adopted ....many are ones I've featured...Adopted Dogs
and if you'd like to help..they do accept donations through Paypal....right now with our economy so bad, so many have had to give up their family pets...I've personally seen people come in and cry as they leave....they have the comfort knowing they've given their dog a safe haven until he or she finds a new home...I like to think of it was an oasis in troubled times....

  1. Hi Dani! Hey honey... you asked about working w/ paper clay? Well... I like it alright. It's messy, but fairly easy to work with. I have to continually add water to it and knead it to get it to do what I want it to. The cool part is you don't have to bake it...it just air dries. One tip I got from a fellow crafter, be absolutely sure it's dry before you paint it. If there's any moisture left in it and you paint over that... it will ROT.
It's cheap too.. a little goes a long way. Hope that helps you sweetie. Penny
