Garden Update, and 9/12 Project

Our little peach tree has quite a few nice peaches developing..but the other two, nectarine and apple are not doing much...we had alot of blossoms on the nectarine but it doesn't look like fruit is coming...but we may be surprised..the apple tree hasn't bloomed yet, it has leaves though..Alan emailed a apple grove farm and they said this year the apple trees are late blooming...something about the weather.....the series of hot and cold spells....

Anyway, our garden now has over 100 corn stalks coming up! wow! Looks like I might have enough if all goes good, to actually freeze some this year....everything else is doing good...the potatoes are up, squash is growing, tomato plants are getting bigger and some are blooming, peppers are blooming...the only thing not doing well is the Blue Lake green beans...some critter came through and ate all the leaves on quite a few of them...just leaving sad little stalks...we reseeded and put down snail bait..I am not sure what else would do that, does anyone?

We bought more seeds, spinach, kohlrabi, and catnip (for the cats, bees and butterflies) (in that order) we want to get some turnip seeds or plants too and I think we will done for this year as far as planting...we did talk about pumpkins too but don't know if we will have the room....

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you feel that America is great but Congress is out of touch....please consider joining the 9/12 Project........there are over 650,000 members now and its growing......You can find out more about it here...
there are many people who participated in the tea parties who are not members..please consider joining as we are becoming one strong voice for freedom and getting back to our Constitution..there are local and state groups also....and you will get news about coming tea parties, house and state bills, etc.

  1. The peaches look kinda funny when they are growing. I would like to get me some fruit trees also. Your garden sounds like it's doing pretty good!
