Shana is a shepherd mix..not too much is known about her...she was just dumped outside of the shelter from a pickup truck...poor girl...she is in good health, the vet says she is about a year old and very friendly. Don says she is very intelligent and would make a perfect pet for a family. She gets along well with the other dogs and loves children.
Don also had this promo made up which I wanted to share.....

I don't dare to watch the video, I am pretty sure I would cry my danged eyes out, just thinking of forgotten animals makes me so sad...
ReplyDeleteShana's eyes are just begging to be loved and to let her love someone to call her very own...Poor little girl...hope she finds a home soon. My two old dogs were rescues, too...they getting so old now...I feel happy whenever I think of having rescued them, wish others would understand it's more of a gift to the PERSON than to the animal, to open heart and home...
Oh, she is so adorable...makes you want to hug and kiss her and reminds me a little of our Tinkabelle. We already have four animals, but if she came to our door (Just like Tinkabelle did), I don't know how strong I could be...
ReplyDeletePlease, God, may she find a super loving home.
I'd take her in a heartbeat!!!! Who in the world would just dump a dog like that???? It just makes me sooooo mad! Those eyes are just too endearing and look so sad! Gees!

I always make a point of visiting your blog to see the pet of the week even though it makes me sad. I guess it is a good thing that I don't live near you Dani and that I don't have a lot of money...I would have to buy 20 acres just to keep rescued dogs and cats.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the things I am going to do for sure when we get moved..I want to rescue 2 male cats to keep outside and a big outside dog...Billy keeps saying no more pets LOL..thats a joke. If I came home with one he would be the first one giving it hugs.
Dogs and cats are just as good for us as we are for them. I have no idea how many pets have saved their owners but I am sure it must be in the millions.:)
