Question

I am back to transferring patterns and getting ready to make a whole lot of bookmarks..something a little different...I also designed a few with sayings on them...bookmarks always come in handy...

unless you're into the ebooks...my own opinion but I prefer to hold an actual book in my hands..I love the feel and turning pages but that's just me.... I also think children benefit from holding the book, feeling the pages as they turn them..not clicking on a screen...I think we are getting too technical anyway...
so I am putting this to my readers....
This

or this?

  2. I say keep it real and go for the book, why do they always have to try to improve on things that are fine the way they are??

  4. It's a book for me..you can set it down anywhere with a little book mark in it and pick it up whenever you want and read it...I don't want to have to start at a screen...I like holding something in my hand when I read it..even a newspaper or magazine :)
I say "Just leave things the way they are..we are messing up our younger generation.

  5. Love books Dani Always have. When I was a kid I would go to the bookmobile and check out 10 or so at a time because I loved to read that much. Thank you for caring about books and Happy New Year to you and yours. May our Lord Bless you today and throughout the New Year. Blessings Mary

  6. I love a real book much better too, Dani... someone bought me an "electronic" bible once, and I don't think I used it but once or twice.

  8. I, personally, think I prefer a real book. However, that being said, we always have a book storage problem -- our shelves are full. Also, when we travel we have to plan specific places to carry our book supply. In those cases the Kindle makes good sense. All the books can be combined into that one tool.

Also, when I read large, heavy books at night, in bed, my husband is always vunerable to books being dropped on his head/body. The Kindle might not hurt quite as much!
    Still, like my books!

  9. I prefer the real thing, but the book I'm reading right now is big and heavy and when I see my sons carrying around the electronic version in their pockets I'm a little envious.
