Hi..thought you'd like to join us on our morning walk......we walk down to the local field with the granddog every morning..but watch your step in some areas, lots of rocks..there is a path but it narrows sometimes....
Here are a few things we saw this morning...
we watched bunnies playing among the rocks.....

after the walk, we usually come home to breakfast..this morning, I made Oatmeal Sunflower Raisin muffins...

1 egg, slightly beaten
2 T. melted butter or margarine, cooled
2 T. vegetable oil
1.t. vanilla
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
Preheat oven to 400. Grease muffin pan...this makes 9 regular muffins or 6 jumbos..In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients, flour, oatmeal, sugaar, baking powder, salt...in another bowl, mix the liquid together well, milk,  oil, butter and vanilla. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the wet..stir just to combine..then stir in the raisins and seeds. Spoon into the prepared pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes..cool on a wire rack..these muffins freeze well......
