Many of the orange groves in Southern California are gone..covered with concrete and houses....when my family first moved to Oceanside, Ca...the valley was miles and miles of orange groves and driving inland, the orange blossoms were so fragrant and lovely...sadly, it is all housing and shopping centers now......
In the next few days, I am doing a little tribute to those wonderful years and will be posting vintage fruit labels....hope you enjoy them.....

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”-Romans 8:28

  1. Our orange groves are gone, too, Dani. Florida has gone the way of California. Concrete has filled in the groves. Some of it in our area is due to weather changes. 30 years ago, we didn't get the cold, freezing temperatures here in the west-central parts of Florida. Now, we have lots of frost. So, most of the groves from where I am and northward are gone. Sad!!!!

But I love the label! Looking forward to seeing more!
