RIP

we woke up this morning to our oldest son's knocking at our bedroom door..he had gotten up for work, and noticed that our dear duck, Mrs. Quack, had met a cruel end...some predator (we all suspect it was a white owl) had attacked her in the yard early this morning...none of us heard any thing...Alan had the sad duty of burying her next to our beloved Smoky who had passed away last year.....We can be comforted in the fact that she had a good life here with us...Rest in Peace, pretty duck..we will miss you...
